WAG IDP 1-SNR Athlete Clinic – January 8 & 9, 2011

On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of January, Kathryn’s Level 2 IDP and Alicia’s Level 5 & 6 IDP girls ventured to NSW to attend one of their first interstate IDP Clinics, in Shell Harbour.

The clinic was hosted by Carmel & Co Gymnastics Centre and focused on new skills progression and development. Specialist coaches were invited to focus on specific apparatus and share their areas of expertise throughout the weekend.

This was a great opportunity for the gymnasts to get personalised advice and training from some of the best coaches in the country.  Despite hot weather and the 8 hour days, the girls trained exceptionally well and have had a fantastic start to their preparations for the upcoming competition season.
